Shrink wrap services in one minute
What is shrink wrap for patio furniture and equipment? Items are grouped, padded at sharp corners and covered with marine-grade shrink film, which is then heated so it tightens around the shape and is sealed down. Vents let moisture escape. The result is a tight winter cover that sheds snow and doesn’t flap or tear in the wind like a tarp.
- What we wrap
- Patio dining sets, sectionals and loungers, BBQs and outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pizza ovens and heaters, trailers, ATVs, snowmobiles, jet skis and equipment.
- Price
- Patio sets from $395 (about 8 x 6 ft), from $650 (8 x 10 ft), from $950 (10 x 12 ft or a big sectional). Minimum service call $250. Before HST, final price from photos.
- When
- After your last patio use and before the first snow, usually mid-October to November. We wrap only on dry days.
- Where
- At your home, condo terrace, restaurant patio, yard or job site across Toronto and the GTA.
- How
- Send 3–5 photos and rough sizes. We reply with a price, book a dry day and wrap it on site in about 1–2 hours for a typical set.
Patio furniture shrink wrap, done the marine way.
Outdoor furniture shrink wrap is the same job we do on boats every fall, scaled to your backyard.
Patio & Backyard (Main)
- Dining sets, sectionals, loungers and benches
- BBQs, outdoor kitchens and bars
- Fire pits, pizza ovens, patio heaters and closed umbrellas
Proper Wrap (Every Job)
- Marine-grade 7 mil shrink film
- Sharp corners padded so the film doesn’t puncture
- Vents in every wrap to let moisture out
- Sealed down tight so wind can’t lift it
Other Things We Wrap
- Jet skis ($195, spring removal included), ATVs and snowmobiles
- Utility trailers, campers and travel trailers
- Generators, small equipment and materials on pallets
Price note: Patio pricing follows the footprint of the group (roughly $8 per sq ft), the number and shape of items, access and travel. Send photos and we confirm the price before we book. Spring removal is not part of the patio and equipment service (jet skis excepted).
Shrink wrap vs a tarp, a cover or a storage unit.
What owners in Toronto usually compare it with:
A tarp
Flaps and tears in the wind, collects pools of water and snow, and has to be tied down again after every storm.
A fabric cover
Lifts and shifts in the wind and wears through at the corners over a winter.
A storage unit
A 5 x 5 unit in Toronto runs about $37–193 a month, roughly $220–1,160 for a winter, plus moving the furniture there and back.
The garage
Free, but it eats the space you need for the car, the bikes and everything else.
Shrink wrap
Fitted to the shape, sealed down and vented. It stays where it is all winter.

We wrap on site
Items grouped and padded, film heat-shrunk tight, vents added, sealed down. About 1–2 hours for a typical set.
Done for the winter
Snow slides off, wind can’t grab it, critters stay out.
Will it get mouldy under the plastic?
This is the number one question, and the answer is in how the wrap is done:
Dry items only
We wrap only on dry days. The film won’t shrink and seal properly over wet furniture anyway.
Vents in every wrap
Vents let moisture escape instead of trapping it.
Cushions stay inside your house
Cushions and pillows hold moisture, so they should be stored indoors, not under the film.
Tight, not loose
A tight wrap doesn’t pump damp air in and out in the wind the way a loose tarp does.
Condo balconies and rooftop terraces.
Every building has its own rules, so we check first:
1. Check your building rules
Some buildings allow only seasonal furniture outside or ask for items to be secured against wind.
2. Property management OK
Shrink wrap is sealed with a heat gun. We confirm with your management before booking.
3. Elevator & access
We book the service elevator or loading dock if needed.
4. Tight against wind
High floors get strong wind. A tight, sealed wrap gives the wind nothing to grab.
Restaurant patios, equipment and job sites.
For businesses we quote from photos or a short site visit:
Restaurant & bar patios
Tables, chairs, bars, heaters and planters wrapped in zones, so you can open in spring without hauling everything indoors.
Equipment & machinery
Generators, small tractors and equipment. Standard 7 mil film protects from snow, rain and wind; long-term corrosion protection needs a special VCI film, quoted separately.
Materials & pallets
Lumber, skids and pallets on site, wrapped tight against weather.
Several sites
Restaurants, property managers and dealers with several locations: one quote, one schedule.
