Boat interior detailing in one minute
What is boat interior detailing? Boat interior detailing is a deep cleaning of everything inside the boat: cabin, salon, V-berth, head, galley, fridge and lockers, plus upholstery, vinyl and carpets, with odor and mildew treated at the source instead of covered with perfume.
- What it is
- Boat interior detailing: cabin, salon, V-berth, head, galley, fridge, lockers, upholstery, vinyl and carpets cleaned, plus odor removal.
- Where
- At your marina, yard or driveway. We bring everything, including extraction equipment for carpets and upholstery.
- Price
- Interior detailing starts from $30/ft, before 13% HST. Heavy odor, mold or mildew is quoted from photos. Interior can be booked on its own or with an exterior detail.
- How long
- A few hours for a refresh, up to a full day for a deep interior cleaning. Strong odor jobs can need extra drying time.
- Best time
- Spring, after winter storage when mildew shows up, and before guests, a survey or a sale.

Odor removal that actually works.
Boat odors usually have a source, a surface and an air cycle. We break the cycle in layers.
Important: if the odor comes from a mechanical or plumbing issue, which is common with heads, we tell you directly. Detailing helps, but the system might need service.
Find the source
Odors have a source, a surface and an air cycle. We look in the hidden spots where smell lives: bilge, head, lockers, under cushions.
Deep clean the surfaces
Remove the bacteria and film from the materials that hold the smell: vinyl, carpet, fabric, wood and fibreglass.
Neutralize odor compounds
Not perfume. Real neutralization where it matters, matched to the type of odor.
Dry and ventilate properly
Controlled drying and airflow, so moisture and the smell have less chance to come back.
Every part of a Toronto boat interior, top to bottom.
Cabin & V-berth
Mattress tops, cushions, lockers, hull liner and the corners where dampness collects.
Salon & dinette
Upholstery, carpets, tables, cabinetry, windows and blinds.
Head
Toilet, sink, shower, mirror, floor and cabinets cleaned and sanitized; odor sources checked.
Galley
Counters, sink, stove, cabinets, fridge and microwave cleaned and degreased.
Cockpit seating
Vinyl seats and bolsters cleaned, mildew spots treated, UV protection on request.
Lockers & storage
Emptied with you, cleaned and dried, so musty smells don’t move back into the cabin.
Choose the level that matches the condition.
We recommend honestly. Every Toronto interior job is quoted from photos, because size, layout and condition decide the time.
Interior Refresh
Best when the boat is generally clean but needs a proper reset.
- Vacuum and wipe-down
- Light vinyl seat cleaning
- Light odor neutralization
Great for: Regular use, pre-guest refresh, post-weekend clean-up.

How to stop mildew before it starts.
Mildew usually isn’t caused by dirt. It comes from trapped moisture and no airflow, especially over the winter.
- Remove wet towels, cushions and clothing before closing the boat for winter.
- Dry the bilge and wipe condensation off windows and hatches.
- Leave lockers, drawers and the fridge door slightly open.
- Keep air moving: vents in the shrink wrap and, where it’s safe, a dehumidifier.
- Check the boat during the season, especially enclosed spaces like the head and V-berth.
Going into storage? Pair a clean interior with vented shrink wrap.
