OUR PROCESS
How Our Boat Shrink Wrapping Process Works
- Boat assessment. We review the boat length, beam, height, location, mast position and major deck structures.
- Film measurement. The correct shrink-film width is selected based on the actual boat profile — not only the boat's overall length.
- Support framing. A support structure is built to create sufficient pitch for winter precipitation.
- Protection of contact points. Sharp rails, fittings and potential puncture areas are protected before the film is installed.
- Film installation. Marine shrink film is fitted around the boat and secured around the perimeter.
- Shrinking. The film is carefully heated to create a tight, weather-resistant enclosure.
- Ventilation. Vents are installed based on the size and configuration of the boat.
- Final inspection. We inspect seams, stress points, drainage areas and the overall structure before completing the job.
