Pre-season & fall boat cleaning.
Season prep is where a boat goes from “stored” to “launch ready.” We handle full cleaning and smart prep before launch, and the right cleanup after haul-out, with a clear scope, honest recommendations, and marina-friendly workflow.
- Fall: clean before storage
- Spring: launch-ready
- Spring unwrap included when we wrap
Seasonal boat cleaning in one minute
What is pre-season boat cleaning? Pre-season cleaning gets a boat from “stored” to “launch ready”: storage dust, film and stains washed off, the interior reset and fresh, and the finish protected before it goes in the water. In the fall it works the other way: clean after haul-out so the boat goes into storage without dirt and damp.
- What it is
- Pre-season boat cleaning and prep before launch, and end-of-season cleanup after haul-out, done at your marina, yard or driveway.
- Right now (fall)
- Clean the boat before storage, then shrink wrap it at your marina or yard. When we wrap it, spring unwrap is included.
- Spring
- Unwrap, wash, interior reset, optional polish and protection, then launch. April is usually fully booked by March, so book early.
- Prices
- Exterior wash from $20/ft, wash with hybrid ceramic wax from $25/ft, interior from $30/ft, polishing from $65/ft, shrink wrap from $23/ft, before 13% HST. Exact price from photos.
- Where
- 76 marinas, yacht clubs and docks from Oakville to the Scarborough Bluffs, plus storage yards and driveways.
After haul-out: clean, then wrap.
The cleanest time to wash a boat is right after it comes out of the water. Then it goes into storage clean, protected and wrapped, and spring is easy.
Haul-out
Your marina lifts the boat. If you can, send us the date: the cleanest time to wash is right after haul-out, before the grime dries on.
Clean before storage
Hull and waterline rinse, deck and non-skid, interior wipe-down and odor check, so stains and mildew don’t set in over winter.
Protect
Optional wax or hybrid ceramic on clean gelcoat. Spring starts easier and oxidation slows down.
Shrink wrap
Tight 7 mil wrap with a frame and vents at your marina or yard, from $23/ft. When we wrap the boat, spring unwrap is included.
What’s included in pre-season cleaning & prep.
We tailor the prep to your boat type, storage conditions, and what you want done before launch. Typical scope includes:
Exterior Reset (Core)
- Hull & deck wash (remove grime, algae/film, storage dust)
- Non-skid deep cleaning (as needed)
- Waterline cleanup (light to moderate, scope-based)
- Quick exterior wipe-down for a clean finish
Interior Reset (Core)
- Full interior vacuum + wipe-down
- Vinyl & upholstery cleaning (seats, cushions, bolsters)
- Cabin/head/galley surface cleaning (as applicable)
- Light odor neutralization (source cleaning + neutralization, not cover-ups)
Optional (Only With Approval)
- Machine polishing / oxidation removal (if the hull is dull/chalky)
- Wax / polymer / ceramic protection options
- Teak cleaning & brightening (if applicable)
- Mold/mildew spot treatment (light to moderate)
- Decal removal / surface cleanup
Honest note: Pre-season cleaning makes a huge difference, but it can’t “fix” oxidation or deep staining without polishing/correction. If something needs a different approach, we’ll tell you straight before adding work.
Before launch vs after haul-out.
Same team, different priorities. We plan around your dates, access, and what matters most for the next step.
Before Launch (Launch-Ready Prep)
- Remove storage film, dust, and stains
- Reset interior so the boat feels fresh
- Optional polish/protection to start the season strong
After Haul-Out (End-of-Season Cleanup)
- Rinse and remove buildup before storage
- Reduce staining and odor issues over winter
- Set the boat up for easier spring launch
From wrapped to launched.
Lake Ontario has a short season. This is the order that works at most GTA marinas.
Book your spring date. April is usually fully booked by March.
Shrink wrap off, wash and interior reset. Bottom paint while the boat is still on the hard.
Polish and protect if the gelcoat is dull: polishing and wax or ceramic need dry, mild days.
Final wipe-down and the boat goes in clean. Keep it that way with weekly or bi-weekly cleaning.
Pre-season packages: choose by condition.
Choose the level based on condition and how strong you want the season start to be.
Launch Refresh
Great when the boat is maintained and you want a clean “ready to launch” look.
- Exterior wash + light waterline attention
- Interior quick reset + light odor neutralization
Great for: maintained boats, quick “ready to launch” look.
