What Deep Detailing Includes

Deep Detailing is designed for seasonal resets, heavier grime, non-skid build-up, waterline marks, dull surfaces, and boats that haven’t been properly detailed in a while.

Exterior (Reset-Level)

  • Hull & topsides wash (deeper than maintenance cleaning)
  • Deck wash + non-skid deep cleaning (proper agitation where needed)
  • Contaminant removal (film, embedded grime, salt/mineral build-up where possible)
  • Stainless & chrome hand-polish (rails, cleats, fittings)
  • Target work: transom, rub rail lines, hardware, corners, seams and tight areas
  • Light oxidation improvement (only when it makes sense for the surface)

Interior (Fresh Reset)

  • Dusting and wipe-down including higher and hard-to-reach areas
  • Vacuuming floors and main interior areas
  • Bathrooms & showers sanitation / wipe-down
  • Touch-point detailing for that “fresh again” result
Honest note: results depend on condition and previous products/coatings. If we see something that needs correction-level work, we’ll explain options first — you choose.

Best For

Deep Detailing is the best value when a standard wash can’t get the result you want.

  • Boats that feel “tired” after the season
  • Deep grime on non-skid areas and around fittings/hardware
  • Waterline marks / surface film that standard washing won’t remove
  • Prepping for events, weekends, or listing photos (high ROI scope)
  • Owners who want it done properly, without guessing and without damage

Our 4-Step Process

Clear scope, controlled workflow, and a clean finish — done marina-friendly and “as for ourselves”.

01

Quick Inspection & Scope Confirmation

We check stains, oxidation, water spots, non-skid build-up, vinyl condition, and sensitive materials. We confirm priorities and scope before we start.

02

Deep Wash & Non-Skid Work

We foam, agitate where needed, use marine-safe chemistry, and rinse in a controlled, marina-friendly way.

03

Detailing & Decontamination

We focus on seams, corners, hardware, rails, glass, transom marks, stainless/chrome, and contaminant removal to get the “tight” finished look.

04

Finish, Walk-Around & Recommendations

Final wipe-down and walk-around. We give a simple maintenance plan and recommend protection options if you want the boat to stay cleaner longer.

Optional Add-Ons (Only With Approval)

We customize Deep Detailing based on your goals and budget. We recommend honestly — you approve everything before we add work.

Popular Add-Ons

  • Water spot / mineral spot treatment (targeted areas)
  • Stain treatment (localized correction)
  • Vinyl deep clean + conditioning (richer “like-new” finish)
  • Upholstery deep clean (seats/cushions)
  • Light machine polish (gloss boost when gelcoat needs it)
  • Protection upgrade: sealant / wax / ceramic options
  • Canvas / cockpit enclosure cleaning (where applicable)
  • Odor removal & deodorization (interior reset feel)
Transparent scope: we’ll recommend what makes sense for your boat’s condition — no surprises.

FAQs

How is Deep Detailing different from Standard Detailing?
Standard is maintenance cleaning. Deep Detailing is a reset: deeper non-skid work, contaminants, focused detailing in tight areas, and problem-zone cleanup where a normal wash doesn’t deliver the result.
Do you work at marinas in Toronto & GTA?
Yes. We work across Toronto & the GTA and follow marina rules. We keep the area clean, protect surrounding surfaces, and work efficiently.
Can you remove oxidation and water spots?
Often we can improve or remove them, but results depend on severity and prior products/coatings. After inspection we’ll recommend the right approach (treatment vs polishing vs correction).
Is machine polishing included?
Not by default. If polishing is needed, we offer it as an approved add-on (light polish or correction-level depending on condition).
Is protection (wax / sealant / ceramic) included?
Protection is optional. If your goal is “stay clean longer,” we’ll recommend the best-value protection option based on your usage and storage.
How long does Deep Detailing take?
It depends on boat size (LOA) and condition. Deep Detailing is typically half-day to 2 days of work.
